Example 1: Simple Setup (Small School)

One rule for everyone:

  • Loan period: 7 days
  • Maximum books: 3
  • Maximum renewals: 2
  • Daily fine rate: PHP 5.00
  • Grace period: 1 day
  • Maximum fine: PHP 100.00
  • Replacement fee: PHP 500.00

Example 2: Separate Rules for Students and Teachers

Student rule:

  • Loan period: 7 days
  • Maximum books: 3
  • Maximum renewals: 2
  • Daily fine rate: PHP 5.00
  • Grace period: 1 day
  • Maximum fine: PHP 50.00
  • Replacement fee: PHP 500.00

Teacher rule:

Example 4: No Fines at All

Some schools choose not to charge fines:

With this setup, students are never charged for late returns, but they are still charged if they lose a book.

Example 5: Different Rules per Campus

If your school has an Elementary campus and a High School campus:

Elementary campus:

High School campus:

  • Loan period: 14 days
  • Maximum books: 5
